Also I'd like to mention I have the original litter robot 3 that didn't come with connect. But I did install that a year later. I had issues when I first got mine and I thought it was the dfi sensor but just ended up I had to take out the "key" that's in the back and I think there was a cover that was unnecessary too on the inside.

Out little robot has a continuous yellow /amber cycling light and the control panel is totally unresponsive. Things we have tried: Cleaning the pinch sensors Checking the spring sensor Powering off and on (via plug as power button not responsive) Checking for control panel lockout Checked back clips are in Checked globe is locked at the back.

Old DFI sensor was based on IR light so it had two circuit boards. One for emitting and one for receiving IR light.
